Hotel Arts Barcelona relaunches Marina, a new ‘coastal’ inspired menu for barcelona’s favourite beachside restaurant

Hotel Arts Barcelona is delighted to announce the relaunch of Marina. One of Barcelona’s most beloved summer hot-spots, the informal restaurant is situated within the hotel’s spectacular gardens and is famed for its panoramic views of The Mediterranean and buzzing beach-side atmosphere. Kicking off the summer season in style Marina will reopen with a creative new menu inspired by international coastlines.

Executive Chef Antonio Saez has carefully created fresh, fun and straight-from-the-sea dishes inspired by coastlines around the world. Marina’s menu travels from Mexico, with Lobster Tacos topped with mango, lime and coriander, to Peru where salmon, tamarind and tuna ceviche offer guests a fresh and exciting way to enjoy Barcelona’s excellent supply of the freshest fish. From South America, Marina’s inspiration jumps across continents to the Mediterranean, with grilled octopus and pan-fried clams served up in ‘Boxes & Buckets’ that are perfect for sharing. Finally, its influence draws from Asia, where woks of succulent beef tenderloin meet stir-fried shitake mushrooms, and wakame salad is topped with trout caviar and delicious Blue Fin tuna.

Adding a splash of glamour, the signature Mixed Grill of calamari, scallops, razor clams, lobster and cockles and Cold Platter dish of oysters, king crab, shrimps and mussels are served up with Champagne Laurent Perrier and are the ideal choice for those looking to indulge. For something sweet, ice-creams are by the famously glamorous Rocambolesc Gelateria, Spain’s most fantastical ice cream parlour and brain child of the youngest of three Roca brothers (founders of one of the world’s best restaurants, El Cellar de Can Roca).

Marina will open daily from 10am until 6pm during May and June. In July and August it will also be open for dinner. Bookings can be made via +34 93 221 10 00 or artsrestaurants@ritzcarlton.com.
