Hotel Arts Barcelona and Arts Catering Launch Gastro 7 At Mobile World Congress

Hotel Arts Barcelona will open a temporary restaurant, Gastro 7, from February 22nd to 25th, 2016, at the Mobile World Congress. Internationally known for his culinary creations, Michelin award-winning chef Antonio Saez will be one of a select group serving Catalan cuisine at the largest mobile networking conference in the world, held at Fira Gran Via center.

Gastro 7 by Arts Catering will feature gourmet creations by Michelin starred, Spanish chef Antonio Saez, who honed his culinary skills under three Michelin starred chef Martin Berasategui. In addition, he trained at and contributed to the awarding of Michelin stars to restaurants in San Sebastian and Abu Dhabi, before being appointed the Executive Chef at Hotel Arts in 2014.

Attendees of the conference can enjoy refined cuisine at Gastro 7 throughout the day, beginning with breakfast. From 11am onwards, tapa entrees will be served, featuring traditional Catalan ingredients like Iberian ham and manchego cheese. Technically impressive main entrees include a roasted eggplant with a black truffle emulsion, amongst others. Desserts and a wide selection of red and white wines, along with premium liquors will also be available.

The annual conference is the largest venue for mobile industry networking, new business opportunities, and deal making. In addition, Keynote speakers Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, Brian Krzanich, the CEO of Intel Corporation, amongst dozens of others will be present. The exhibition will host more than 2,000 companies displaying cutting-edge products and technologies that define the future of mobile. Over 93,000 mobile professionals from 200 countries will be present. The conference will take place at Fira Gran Via, a cutting-edge exhibition and conference facility in the heart of Barcelona.
